Bryce Canyon is a national park located in southwestern Utah in the United States. The major feature of the park is Bryce Canyon, is not actually a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce Canyon is quite distinctive due to the geological structures called hoodoos. These hoodoos are formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for park visitors. Bryce's altitude frequently surprises visitors coming from Zion as the rims at Bryce vary from 8,000 to 9,000 feet. This park is beautiful in all four seasons.

This is excellent. It's refreshing to see a moody photo of Bryce after seeing so many point-n-shoot views of the place. This is a keeper for sure!

Breathtaking! I don't think I've ever seen a photo of Bryce in the snow before! What majesty with the reddish formations emerging from the ground blizzard and the drifts. Spectacular work! fav
