somehow this very painterly, reminds me of a stephen lyman or rod frederick painting. it has a nice balance with all of the negative space, while above there is great drama in the "big" weather and that rich breath of warming color. well done! v/f

This is an exceptional photograph! I love how dark the trees are against the backround...and yet you can still see a hint of their lush greenery. The colors in the mountains and that drifting mist....gorgeous. Would love to know where this is....v/f
