Description
2011 S. Bronstein Photography. All Rights Reserved. This is a photography of 399, one of the most popular and prolific grizzly bears in Grand Teton National Park. This is her second set of triplets and her daughter, 610, actually took in one of her cubs when it became separated from mom and the other two cubs. All three cubs are now reunited with mom and preparing for winter by digging up roots, grubs and berries. She is a show stopper, indeed.

Thanks Kimberlee for the revisit and kind words. Yes, this is 399 and there were a great number of photographers present.

I am revisiting, Sandra! This is such an amazing capture! Mama Bear has a look of awareness on her face! Do you think she was aware of your taking her picture? If this bear, #399, is among the most popular, then she must be more accustomed than the others of someone watching her who has no intention of harming her, or her cubs! I think that they can smell fear! Fearful people, I would think, would not be able to get this close!
