Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve is in southern Colorado and is known for huge dunes like the towering Star Dune, and for the seasonal Medano Creek and beach created at the base of the dunes. Sometimes you just have to forego the big scene for the smaller and more intimate details. The sand patterns in Medano Creek beckoned.

Sandra Bronstein finds great pleasure in sharing the beauty of the natural world and its magnificent wildlife as seen through her lenses for over 40 years. Having been intrigued by many different elements, in both the manmade and natural world, she strives to discover new and different ways to capture these elements. Her vision provides a window into the ever changing world and, simply put, Sandra has captured and shares with us a simple moment in time.
