The Vestrahorn Mountains in Southern Iceland rise suddenly from the sea and provide beautiful detail reflected on the black sand beaches. The weather changes so quickly with the prevailing winds it can snow and then seem as if spring has arrived within hours. This day, clearing skies offered wonderful detail in the image.
