The Grand Canyon is one of the United States most iconic national parks and one of the most controversial. Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. With all the rims offering views, hiking and different view, it is one of the most popular and widely visited. Winter, however, is the ideal time to visit for snow covered mesas, cloud formations and so much more.
