Leopards are graceful and powerful big cats closely related to lions, tigers, and jaguars. They live in sub-Saharan Africa, northeast Africa, Central Asia, India, and China. However, many of their populations are endangered, especially outside of Africa. This female and her male offspring took rest in the shade on a hot day in the Masai Mara Conservancy, Kenya.
Sandra Bronstein finds great pleasure in sharing the beauty of the natural world and its magnificent wildlife as seen through her lenses for over 40 years. Having been intrigued by many different elements, in both the manmade and natural world, she strives to discover new and different ways to capture these elements.
