This wonderful old house, located in Thompson Springs, Utah was just sitting there waiting to be photographed. This entire town is nearly defunct, except for a nearby gas station, due mainly to the fact that the successful mining business in the area, near Sego Canyon, dried up many, many years ago. There remain a few residents and pronghorn sheep in the area today. The railroad still utilizes the original tracks but there is no longer a stop at the old station. This town sees quite a bit of visitorship due in large part to its proximity to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and Moab, Utah.

Love this photo with unique camera angle to create a overlapping door frame illusion. voted/fave

John, glad you like it! You are correct, the second time around was the magic trick.
