This one arm of Canyon De Chelly, in Arizona, is particularly sacred to the native american indians who still reside inside the canyon. The Navajo take this are very seriously and actually discourage tourism to this section. Most visitors see the caves in Canyon del Muerto from this vantage point. The ruins that lie inside the caves are believed to be the most important and sacred.
Sandra Bronstein finds great pleasure in sharing the beauty of the natural world and its magnificent wildlife as seen through her lenses for over 40 years. Having been intrigued by many different elements, in both the manmade and natural world, she strives to discover new and different ways to capture these elements. Her vision provides a window into the ever changing world and, simply put, Sandra has captured and shares with us a simple moment in time. Sandra was raised and continues to reside in large metropolitan cities but has always had a love of nature and wilderness. It was due, in part, to family travels and being an "outdoor" girl which kept her love strong for wildlife and the environment. That love and respect shows in each...

Yes as Michael did, I saw the eyes within the cave as a rising spirit, especially the striping on the left side on the rock above...suggestive of hair...makes this an amazing opportunity from a photographic standpoint....lighting is everything :)) FV
