This one arm of Canyon De Chelly, in Arizona, is particularly sacred to the native american indians who still reside inside the canyon. The Navajo take this are very seriously and actually discourage tourism to this section. Most visitors see the caves in Canyon del Muerto from this vantage point. The ruins that lie inside the caves are believed to be the most important and sacred.
