This coyote swam the Gardiner River in Yellowstone as he smelled the carcass on the other side. After two attempts in the freezing water being pulled downstream, he finally made his way to his meal. After attempting to pull the carcass out of the water for several minutes he simply gave up and began to feed on the young elk carcass.
